About.

I am a 27-year-old Francophone and Métis skeleton athlete from Winnipeg, Manitoba, proudly representing Canada on the international stage.

My journey to skeleton has been anything but conventional. After a successful track and field career as a sprinter and team captain at the University of Manitoba, my coach encouraged me to explore a sport that would reward speed, power, and determination. In the summer of 2023, I stepped onto a skeleton sled for the first time at the Calgary Ice House and immediately found my passion.

What followed exceeded every expectation. Within just eight training sessions, I set the national push record at the Ice House. Months later, I earned a spot on Team Canada and began competing internationally. In the first two races of my career, I recorded top-10 finishes, proving that I could compete with some of the world’s best despite being new to the sport.

The transition was not without challenges. Skeleton is one of the most demanding and technical sports in the world. Learning to race at over 140 km/h meant embracing setbacks, hard lessons, and the occasional crash. Living away from home and adapting to a completely new environment tested me both physically and mentally. Those experiences strengthened my resilience, deepened my confidence, and fueled my commitment to continuous improvement.

Today, I am ranked among Canada’s top skeleton athletes and am focused on the next chapter of my journey. Every training session, race, and season is part of a larger goal: representing Canada at the 2030 Winter Olympic Games in the French Alps.

As I continue pursuing excellence on the world stage, I am proud to carry my Francophone and Métis heritage with me, inspiring young athletes to believe that unconventional paths can lead to extraordinary destinations.
